Ice Cream Machine

A view from the picnic tables in front...

There is nothing like taking back roads in the fall, through New England. The colors of the leaves can be spectacular! And I love to drive, because if I see a spot to stop at, I don't miss the chance to do so... whether it's for a photo, or some exploring.

I wanted to turn around and go check out an historic marker along Main St, and in the process of turning down a few side streets, by so-pilot saw this sign for 'homemade ice cream' painted on the side of a building (with an arrow pointed up this driveway).

We decided to make this our 'lunch stop', we wouldn't have enough room for lunch on top of these ice cream selections, anyway.

My so-pilot had Frozen Pudding and Pistachio and loved it...

This below is my combination.... Top is a Coconut base with shaved special dark chocolate and whole almonds (VERY yummy) on top of a scoop of Molasses Gingersnap ice cream (AWESOME!!!). The Molasses Gingersnap (my curiosity was peaked) wasn't as recommended by Dave (co-owner with John) as he said it was rather sweet, but we were told to ask for a spoonful of any selection we were contemplating. It tasted like Indian pudding, with crushed gingersnap cookies layered in throughout it. soooo gooood! We'll be back again!
